2016 SmartWool® Battle the Bluff Trail 13.1

2016 SmartWool® Battle the Bluff Trail 13.1

Sunday, September 25 •  9 am
Council Bluff Recreation Area – Swimming Beach Shelter

Are you tough enough to Battle The Bluff? Join us for 13.1 miles of singletrack heaven around the lake at Council Bluff Recreation Area in mid-Missouri. This will never be considered the easiest half-marathon you ever do; but it just may be the one that you brag about the longest!

What other race will you enter this year where you’ll find floating aid stations? Alpine Shop staff will be providing two on-course aid stations via canoe and four total aid locations powered by CLIF Bar® energy foods. And what other half marathon will you be attending this year that will be hosting a paddle demo after the race? (Well, none that we know of at least!) Hey, we’re an outdoor recreation store. We’ll already have the boats there for the aid stations, anyway!

Battle the Bluff Registrant T-shirtEven better, all runners will recieve a pair of performance SmartWool® Socks AND a custom Battle the Bluff t-shirt for FREE. While walk-up registrations may be available the morning of the run, we do encourage all runners to pre-register on-line.

Prizes (provided by SmartWool® and Alpine Shop) will be awarded in both the men’s and women’s division in all major age groups.
