On-line registration is now closed for the 2025 race. You can, however, register in person at Alpine Shop Kirkwood during packet pick-up on April 11, from 5-7 pm. Or, you can arrive early to Shaw Nature Reserve on Saturday April 12 and register between 7 –8:30 am at Race HQ.
Please Note: Due to flooding of the Meramec River earlier this week, we have made changes to the course. Please see the link below for more information. Also, while trail running shoes are not a requirement for this race, please know that areas of the trail while be slick and/or muddy. Trail runners are recommended for their additional traction. For all runners, please be careful on the trails, especially around the 4.5 mile mark on the bluff trail.
Keep the trail miles rolling in 2025 with your choice of a 10k or 20k Trail Run through through one of eastern Missouri’s most beautiful locales, the Shaw Nature Reserve in Gray Summit, Mo.
The 10k loop course features a little bit of everything trail running has to offer: from grass meadows to gravel hiking paths, rocky single-track to dirt roads, steep cliffs to rolling hills, and even a boardwalk above a lily-filled lake! Tackle it twice if you feel like doing the 20k!
Packet Pick-Up Update:
Packet pick-up will be at Alpine Shop Kirkwood on Friday, April 11 between 6 and 7 pm. Or, you can pick up your packet the morning of the race between 7–9 am at Race HQ at Shaw Nature Reserve.

Like many of the the Off-Road Racing League events, The North Face Shaw Bloom Trail 10k/20k is regulated by a strict number of runners we can allow on the trails for the safety of the participants and the protection of the natural lands. For 2024, the good folks at Missouri Botanical Gardens and the Shaw Nature Reserve have asked us to keep our maximum capacity at 500 runners. If you’re interested in running (and we hope you are!), please keep that in mind and register as quickly as you can to ensure a spot on this year’s roster.
