GRAY SUMMIT, MO — A record field of runners took to the roads, trails, paths, and boardwalks of Shaw Nature Reserve on a damp Saturday morning in March. The Alpine Shop Shaw Bloom 10K/20K Trail Run, presented by The North Face, featured a variety of on- and off-road surfaces to challenge the runners through undulating terrain of Shaw Nature Reserve. The heavy rains in the forecast held off long enough for all of our runners to cross the finish line!
Thanks to Great Harvest Bread Company for pre-and post race snacks, Terrain Magazine for promotional support, Schlafly beer for post-race refreshment, and Optimal Performance Center for on-site stretching and soft tissue work!

The Alpine Shop Off-Road Racing League will continue in May with the Spring Trail Run Series. The series includes 4 races on Thursday nights in May at Castlewood State Park in Ballwin, Missouri. Join us for a 3-to-5 mile course each night, plus plenty of post-race festivities! More information and on-line registration is available here.
