Queeny Park is the new home of the Trail Run Series! This popular St. Louis County park is centrally located just West of I-270 and offers everything from wide-open meadows and beautiful lakes, to spacious trails and steep hills over seven miles of pathways.

Queeny Park was once part of the estate of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar M. Queeny. Mr. Queeny was the former president and chairman of the board of Monsanto Chemical Company, which was founded by his father.
Jarville, the house at 1723 Mason Road, was built about 1854 by Hyacinth Renard, and is one of the best surviving examples of the Greek Revival style in Missouri. The house was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
The Queenys sold their property to the American Investment Company Realty Corporation in 1964, giving the proceeds to Barnes Hospital. St. Louis County purchased the property from the American Investment Company in March, 1970.
Ethel Queeny contributed $1 million towards the completion of the family recreation complex. Edward Greensfelder, who represents the Albert P. Greensfelder Foundation, also donated $1 million for the project, along with an additional $50,000 for landscaping. Construction of the Greensfelder Memorial Complex began June, 1972 and was dedicated in September, 1974.

West Entrance: 550 Weidman Road, Saint Louis, MO 63131;
East Entrance: 1675 South Mason Road, Saint Louis, MO 63131
- Westbound I-44, take I-270 N to Manchester Road. Head West on Manchester Road to Weidman Rd. Turn right at Weidman. The West entrance to the park will be on the right hand side. Parking is available at a number of lots that will all be on the left hand side as you pull into the park.
- Westbound on I-64, exit at Mason Road and head South. You will pass the Clayton Road intersection. The East entrance to the park will be on the right at 1675 South Mason Road
- On Manchester Rd, head North on Weidman Rd. The West entrance to the park will be on the right hand side. Or, to access the East Entrance, head north on Mason Rd. The entrance will be on your left. Note: there is more parking at the West Entrance.
