Due to restricted capacity at Shaw Nature Reserve, this event has been shifted to a virtual event. Racers will be able to run the 10k/20k course at Shaw Nature Reserve from September 20-27, 2020. The Meramec Marathon will be rescheduled for October 3-4, 2020. This race has been moved to a multiday virtual paddle race. Castlewood 8-Hour Adventure Race: COVID-19 UPDATE: We are carefully monitoring the current situation in the St. Louis region, and working with our permitting agencies to determine the safest way to hold this event. If necessary, we may cancel, with full refunds to registered racers. We are also exploring the option of a virtual “race” where your Race Directors would still hang all of the checkpoints, but your maps would be emailed and you would complete the course at a time of your choosing within a two-week window. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the ever-changing conditions (a very important adventure racing skill!).
