Short Track Dirt Crit – MTB Races

Fun, low-pressure off-road racing every Thursday night in July and the series begins tonight!Alpine Shop Short Track Dirt Crit Series

This is not a traditional bike race. For the Alpine Shop Short Track Dirt Crit, the actual race length is determined by a total time. In the case of the A level race, the competitors race for 40 minutes plus one lap. The B and C races are 30 minutes and 15 minutes respectively, both with one lap added on to determine the winner. Prizes are awarded for top 3 in each category every night. The A race – featuring Category 1 riders (semi-pros and experts) – awards cash prizes both for this night and for the entire series. The B race – for Category 2 cyclists (sport and intermediate-level riders) – features different gear and clothing awards each night as does the C race for beginners and juniors.

Every level rider is welcome. Races feature both men and women. This is a great way to stay in shape while escaping the torrid heat of a typical summer afternoon.

Final Week!
