BALLWIN, MO – After we put the Race 4 course to a vote of the participants earlier in the week, the majority chose what we nicknamed the “Hills” course. On Thursday, May 22, they got to experience that course with just one little wrinkle we didn’t divulge in the voting process: a creek crossing to end the race.
Andy Koziatek won his second overall title in three races, taking first place in a time of 28:42.6 on the 4.3 mile course, followed by race two champion Caleb Brackett in 80 seconds later at 29:44.0 and Jack Wilkinson just 5 seconds behind Brackett.
While officially this race is listed as “Race 4,” we still have one race to go in this four-race series! The rescheduled Race 3 will take place next Thursday, May 29.
