RESULTS 3-12-2016 | Shaw Bloom 10K/20K Trail Run presented by The North Face

GRAY SUMMIT, MO — A sell-out crowd of 300 runners took to the roads, trails, paths, and boardwalks of Shaw Nature Reserve on a drizzly Saturday morning. The Alpine Shop Shaw Bloom 10K/20K Trail Run, presented by The North Face, featured a variety of on- and off-road surfaces to challenge the runners through undulating terrain.

Thanks to Great Harvest Bread Company for pre-and post race snacks, Missouri Wildflowers Nursery for finisher’s prizes, Terrain Magazine for promotional support, Gateway Team In Training for course clean-up, BSA Venture Crew 2821 for aid station assistance, and Optimal Performance Center for on-site stretching and soft tissue work!

Chris Pilarski won the overall 10K race with a time of 43:14. Mary White was the women’s 10K winner in 45:55.

Matt Davidson won the overall 20K race with a time of 1:18:06. Sunny Gilbert was the women’s 20K winner in 1:26:09.

The Alpine Shop Off-Road Racing League will continue in May with the Spring Trail Run Series presented by Marmot. The series includes 4 races on Thursday nights in May at Castlewood State Park in Ballwin, Missouri. Join us for a 3-to-5 mile course each night, plus plenty of post-race festivities!
