Sorry for the late notice on this, but we will NOT be holding a fun run on Thursday, May 25 at Castlewood State Park. We were truly hoping to make this happen, but one of our main directives with our races is to do no harm to the trails. That’s simply not possible to do at this point at the park.
With trees still down, muddy conditions on the trails from rain and continual use – even while the park was closed, and a lack of adequate parking, we feel it’s best to let the Parks Department continue to rebuild Castlewood while we focus on the August series.
Wish we could have made this happen, but it’s just not in the cards.
