Final Course Set for Trail Run Series – 4.43 Miles

The 2011 Off-Road Racing League Trail Run Series comes to a close this Thursday with our fourth and final race. Our sincere thanks to every one of you who has come out and made this year’s series such a huge success. The 8/25 course will be about 4.5 miles in length – about a half a mile shorter than last week’s run.

Big River Running‘s Matt Helbig had this to say about the course:

The final stage is set! This jewel of a course revisits some great sections of the park. Only one long hill at the beginning leads to some fluid trails up top and a flat finish into race HQ! Thanks for playing!

This week’s race is sponsored by Smartwool and Platypus. The first 100 racers will have their pick of either a pair of Smartwool socks or a Platypus water bottle for FREE! As this is the final race of the year, Alpine Shop will also be clearing out its closet of prizes as well. Register here to be a part of it!

Following the race, The Wolf Public House will provide the snacks and we’ll provide the beverages. As always, the party starts as soon as you finish your race!

It’s the final race of the year, if you haven’t joined us before, now’s your chance to experience the Off-Road Racing League Trail Run Series before 2012. Or, if you’re an “experienced veteran” it’s your last chance to join in the fun before next year. We’ll see you then! Register by clicking here!
