2011 Off-Road Racing League Schedule Set

Were you a part of the Short Track Dirt Crit Series in 2010? Did you join us for the first Trail Run Series last August? It’s time to start all over again!

From June 30 through August 25, join Alpine Shop, The Wolf Public House and Big River Running Company every Thursday night for the Off-Road Racing League at Castlewood State Park. These fun and competitive racing events are open to mountain bikers and runners of all ages and abilities, but participation is limited to the first 150 participants signed up each night.

Free Food for All Participants!

Every event is followed by free food from The Wolf Public House and free beverages (beer and non-alcoholic) for all registered races.

Last year, the Off-Road Racing League and Castlewood State Park became the place to be on Thursday nights throughout the summer. Come out this year and discover why for yourself.

Who Can Compete in the Short Track Series?

Anyone! The Short Track Dirt Crit Mountain Bike Series features three levels of competition: A, B & C. “A” level racers are the best mountain bike racers in the St. Louis area. “B” racers are very competitive and “C” races are for beginners and kids.

What’s a Short Track Race?

Racers compete for a set length of time over an approximately 1 mile course. The number of laps completed depends on the level of the racer.

The A races begin at 6 pm, B races around 6:50 pm and C races around 7:15 pm.

What About the Trail Runs?

For the Trail Runs, all levels leave at the same time and all ages and abilities are welcome, even if you haven’t run in a long, long time.
